Our Horse Power

Lou

Lou is a 15 year old gelding paint. He is a very broke horse. He was previously ridden by children. Adoptable to beginner level and above.

Millie

Millie is a year old pony. She was born on site to Deliliah. She is very curious and loves attention. She is not yet broke.

Queen

Queen is a Jockey Club thoroughbred mare foaled April 27, 2004 by Tactical Cat out of Ultreya by Gone West. She is currently learning ground manners and will be getting broke to ride and will be joining us on the trails soon.

Star

Star is a beautifully built paint mare and is one of our newest additions. She came to us unhandled and is now halter broke. She is very smart and gentle natured. She will soon begin her training under saddle and will be soon joining us on the trails.

Sunny

Sunny is a beautiful bucksin mare. She is AQHA certified from sire Poponita Raven and dam Doc Olenas Music. She is 18 years old and is currently being rehabilitated for laminitis. While her progress has been slow she has been progressing and we are hopeful she will be able to do light riding in the future. Right now she is part of the Sanctuary. We are hoping she will be available for adoption in the future.

Delilah

Delilah is a pony mare and the mother of Millie. She came to us unhandled and is now halter broke. She is not yet broke to ride.

Tex & Rebel

Tex & Rebel are registered Andalusian geldings. They are approximately 26 years old. They are available to be used as a horse for training lessons.

Sunflower

Sunflower is a privately owned mare. She is the first kill pen rescue at the facility and loves all the attention she gets being with the rescue horses. She is adventurous and outgoing. She can’t wait to hit the trails.

Kash

Kash is a Sanctuary APHA certified gelding. He is 22 years old and loves all the attention he gets at the rescue.

LD

LD is a privately owned mustang and the newest addition to the herd. He has experience with cattle and is a wonderful addition to the trail line.
